yes kikuchi is fucking cute and yes kou was an annoying lil bitch but i honestly think that this is a rather accurate representation of teenage romance where sometimes things just dont work out with another whom u dont have feelings for even if u try your hardest. if kou wasnt thr, kikuchi and mc might be a healthy couple, but i was honestly happy they broke it off cuz itll be unhealthy if she stayed but still have feelings for kou. thats gonna wear them both down eventually. also im all in for kou's character growth and how he managed to move on from a codependent relationship with nazumi. and i love how its not 'omg the mc changed me!!', and how they did help each other to move on and view things differently in a certain sense. it rlly is like a normal teenage romance, a lil awkward and a hell lot of bad decisions
