I think that the problem is how you started drawing, you probably just jumped into drawing characters instead of practicing how to draw their anatomy correctly. My drawings used to look awkward and I never knew why, so I restarted and drew from step one. I recommend checking out this guys YouTube channel, he helped me out a lot https://youtube.com/......
