people consider it juvenile and outdated and such. i've heard a lot of people say its the worse counterpart to ao3. also wattpad has become synonymous with cringe because all of the movies based off of wattpad stories are cringey asf (the kissing booth and the god awful after series to name a couple). i'm sure there are good stories on wattpad too but the cringe is what is getting the spotlight. this is just my opinion and take on it tho. idk what the og commenter meant lmfao.
