You can support the author even if you're broke, don't be lazy! When you sign up they give you a bunch of chapters for free. If you subscribe to 3 series right away, they give you even more free chapters. You could probably buy the 8 chapters available of this series right now.
Every Monday you get a fortune cookie as a gift in your inbox with free ink, you have to claim it. That alone is enough to buy one chapter.
You can watch ads. 30 ads are enough to buy one chapter. It takes you only a few minutes (Ads duration from 10 to 30 secs each).
Read for ink, you get that option in your messages maybe a couple times a week. Basically you have to "read" 3 or 4 free chapters of a given series and they give you bonus ink to spend on the series you want.
You can also invite friends, take surveys and complete offers for bonus inks.
As you can see Tap@s is very generous with us unlike Lezhin. I wish more authors would publish on Tap@s. They also have a nice comments section.

you guys need to relax lmaooo at least give the authors 3 days to get their money. posting immediately after the chapter releases is just unreasonable. i understand if people don’t have the money to support the authors but waiting at least 3 days for a free chapter just to give the author their due credit isn’t hard at all right?2021-05-24 07:13 marked
