Whats the point of being consistent if the story... just isn't good?

— my unprofessional rating that no one asks for yet I always provide after a story ends ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
Overall a 3/10 for mutiple reasons to summarize my rant below
main characters are children for half the story and we're expected to see them as adults, characters aren't fleshed out and their arcs feel incomplete, FL grows a "attachment" but it feels like she treats them the same characters and details are mentioned consistently and seem like a big deal then are thrown away the ending feels rushed and incomplete THE ART IS PAINFUL AT TIMES... every character besides the mc is ignored. Why does the og FL has "cat ears" on her hoodie?? it's overall a bad story IN MY OPINION but it gains points for having consistent lore which is, you'd be suprised, very rare. (But it can't save the story from my rating because consistency isn't everything)

I personally wouldn't recommend this story to anyone I ever meet. It's not necessarily bad writing— the author kept consistent lore and world building throughout the stody. You could tell they knew what the story was gonna be from before it was made and kept it in mind, so it's only polite to keep a open mind.

But the story was just... disappointing. I personally think the only one with a finished story was the FL (and MAYBEEEEE the ML) every other character felt like a side note. Especially since the author ignored their personal lives for the most part, you never really thought of them as more then... side characters? Which is what they are, but usually they're treated better? Why was the aunt mentioned to be exactly like the first (black hair guy lowkey forgot the last name) and had a whole plot point, then treated as just an device to explain the curse? Which never ended up being a big deal in the story? Similar to her beef with her sister? Similar to how the first black hair guy was consistently mentioned in season one then thrown away, which is overall my biggest grief.

THE AUTHOR TREATED EVERY CHARACTER BESIDES LUNA AS A SECOND THOUGHT

And sure the og leads were a big use in the end, but they were just treated as tools, i would've liked if Luna had come around to seeing them as her children or friends like she had grown to see Blonde as her lover. I actually think if you ignored their conversations the story could've been just as success if they were ACTUALLY TOOLS. Blonde could've been jealous of Alan or the doctor because unlike Blonde she viewed them as people she could lean on and adults.

Similarly, THE DOCTOR DID NOTHING BUT SERVE AS A POTION MAKER TO JUSTIFY TIME SKIPS IM THE BEGINNING OF THE STORY.

And the og FL and ML had no reason to hate eachother as adults. It felt like og ML was supposed to love FL which is seen in the cover art, but he ended up viewing her as the same old teacher the entire time. In fact, it would've been a better conclusion (in my pov at least) since they would've been happy and not just... "my teacher ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶" the entire time. They could've been independent.

And the worst part? THEY'RE CHILDREN FOR HALF OF THE STORY.

The chapters are fucked up. It's a shame for a story that seems like it could be good.

The only good character wss Daniel, the "love story" was Stockholm syndrome to the very end. Hones Daniel made me cry MY BABY BOY MY PORSITO HE SHOULDVE MARRIED ME! (Note Daniel is the original prince who made the Main Character Rael play the role of prince and commander, aka the hottest man alive I love you Daniel <3) I thought this would've been I make the Ml a grwat emperor and we happen to fall in love along the way but no it's I kidnap you and pay to take your first night.

Honestly the Life in a modern world would've been a much better stand alone story. Also literally anyone else was a better ML I wouldn't have minded if Daniel and Fael(? I already forgot his name lmao) were the mc and ML, ngl it could've been great it's simply fine since there was unnecessarily misunderstandings and Kidnapping and buying sex

I forgot about it at chapter 90 so honestly I didn't really care when it was the ending ngl it didn't effect me at all when ir ended but it seems okay from my memory your choice to read it
