i understand the vision but unfortunately the execution was mid as hell still better than half the slop in this genre though

yeah definitely longer, the pacing was throwing me off so bad. the motives weren't fully fleshed out and i felt like none of the characters' actions had any (or enough) emotional weight. the psychosexual nature of their relationship would've been so much more interesting and impactful if the author spent a little more time developing it and building some stakes. welp
i can never get enough of unreliable narrators; this is so so well-written and i hope someone translates s2 soon because it seems insane in the best way possible
