i understand the vision but unfortunately the execution was mid as hell still better than half the slop in this genre though
yeah definitely longer, the pacing was throwing me off so bad. the motives weren't fully fleshed out and i felt like none of the characters' actions had any (or enough) emotional weight. the psychosexual nature of their relationship would've been so much more interesting and impactful if the author spent a little more time developing it and building some stakes. welp

EVERYONE should read dangun ( https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/oh_dangun/ )!!! it's so good; romance, mystery, action, great art, interesting characters (with equal focus given to the fml and ml AND side characters (who are really cool), every arc is interesting, and not a single chapter was even remotely boring or tedious. the world building is also pretty unique as well as the fantasy aspect. literally peak
the author really just gave up on a coherent plot, huh?
