For anyone that doesnt understand, it's called being a connoisseur. The author just served a hot evil guy with a side of tentacles. If that's not to your likely that's fine. I'll enjoy all the calamari.
However for those prefer another dish that's just as toxic but no monster bits I recommend, Profundis.

The MCs are in a Chinese sword fantasy wuxia, where characters learn special martial arts through years of training to become immortal. Basic plot elements involve martial arts schools, superpowers, Masters/students and sword fighting. In these stories, there is a "right" and "wrong" way to train. Wrong way = demonic way growing strong by more malicious means.
The MCs are in a pretty classic setup for these.
Master trains this star pupil who becomes the big shot has a 50% of being actually "evil".
Then, a character with a poor background is enrolled at their school and shows everyone how cool they are. The star pupil gets jealous and does something to the Poor Character.
Poor Character then gains a new power to fight back bring down the star pupil and win the day.
The MCs are in the roles of the Master and the star pupil.

See for me I hope homeboy gets out and trains this dude into being a proper M like the rest of the Owens. With some good old fashion ntr where Nux does the good bois and makes the tan one watch l(and the tan will also have to wear a chastity belt). If now tan Owen gets his teeth kicked in at the very least.
I noticed some people talking about this. I think the author is playing around with disconnect between them being two different species. Hoyori is a human and he puts things into human terms and considerations. He literally won't understand what Hodaka is talking abount. He isn't a oni after all. Meanwhile Hodaka has a hardest time vocally expressing himself to Hoyori. It's actually one thing I like about this manga.
Hodaka knows Hoyori well enough to understand he gets in his own head and will stew. So Hodaka tried his best to be clear it sometimes falls short when it comes to his oni background. In this liking vs eatting thing. I won't to see where these weirdos go.
This is a better version of that weird vore beast man bl I read ago. Holy shit.
You mean the one where everyone constantly got pregnant and there was this weird bunny guy who wanted to eat everyone and their children?
YEAH THAT ONE! The art from that was pretty at least.
You just unlocked some memories..... And traumas
Wait which manga it was?
Jesus wtf is that manga?? Σ( ̄□ ̄||)
Oh i remember that one, everyone was an animal hybrid and there was a snake one who had children. I don't remember the title, it was....interesting
Castehate
I also like how in the beginning Hoyori is too uncomfortable and embarrassed to express his feelings, saying stuff like he's rather be forced than say what he wants himself. Cause honestly that's so realistic and relatable. They were able to keep the development going at a steady pace even with a character who isn't verbally honest with their feelings, and I feel like a lot of other authors just use that personality trait to make up a lot of quirky unrealistic misunderstandings just for the development instead of fleshing out the main character's personality and working around this trait. If that makes sense lmao
Oh that one? I hate it with my entire existence. My snake boy deserved better
