My favorite thing about this manhwa is how it talks about important issues like racism, white supremacy, and homophobia. And I think gay people are represented well which most BL mangas fail to do? Or is it just me? I actually want to ask my gay friends to read this so that I have someone to discuss this to.

I'm queer too but I guess I won't understand much since I'm female but one thing I noticed with most BL mangas is how the main couple consists of a male with feminine characteristics and another male with predominantly masculine characteristics, i.e., the main couple reflects the traditional gender roles and that's not how irl gay relationships work most of the time. But it's so different in Dark Heaven and so I hope a lot of people read this and get rid of all the stereotypical notions abt gay relationships.

I'm female too so I can't fully understand either but I think generally, lgbt people have similar feelings/experiences. So, even though I am not a gay man but a queer girl, it's not too far fetched to say Simon and Conor's relationship is good representation. It would be nice to read/hear the thoughts of actual gay men about this though.
And yeah, Dark Heaven is not like a common stereotypical & tropey BL. I've only ever found so few manga/manwha with good representation of gay relationships or lgbt representation in general so it's great I came across Dark Heaven. They do a really good job and not only that but it does well with discussing and bringing important real-life social issues to light (like you said in your original comment).
I don't see any harm in people reading sterotypical BL so long as they don't expect actual gay men to act that way but I agree, it would help if more people read this and others like it so they can separate stereotypes from gay relationships.
can yuki and usami just get together??? mAKE IT GAY YOU COWARDS
