hyeondo has come sooo far, i'm so proud of him finally getting over his ex T____T that last stunt by his ex was really the last straw for him to realize that she ruined their relationship and that he deserves someone who supports what he does, listens to what he has to say, and reciprocates his acts of service.

and he is down BAD for yumin man his smile while talking about her and when he called her name... now we just need yumin to realize she deserves someone (hyeondo) who would love her genuinely and wholeheartedly, all-encompassing. but ngl i'm really loving the pace so far, imo it's gradual and natural for people who spent a huge part of their life in a committed relationship.

also peep the lgbt couples at the park, just when i thought i couldn't love this manhwa more !!

i just love how well-rounded the characters are (sometimes too intense, but eh it’s fiction anyway), it’s what makes this manhwa entertaining for me. while ilmi’s actions are wrong, it’s what the adults in her life, who all failed her, have pushed her to do as defense mechanism. and now seeing that she used to be on good terms with her sister despite their mom’s blatant favoritism vs their current relationship, i can’t help but think how things could’ve been completely different if only her sister took her side and blamed their mom instead. that line “she doesn’t even know that her hateful look hurt me more than my mom’s true feelings toward me.” really HIT me as someone with a sister that i’m close to. i hate their mom so much for driving a wedge between them omg i kinda hope they’d be close again and take a stand against their mom, or at least leave that abusive household, disown their family, and do what they want to do

the comments here make me sick… calling mi-ok names and the overall lack of empathy while the people you’re defending are extremely nice and compassionate. mi-ok basically explained how being different made her feel alone and didn’t want haebeom to go thru the same thing. don’t even get me started how messed up having emotionally unavailable parents must make you feel. while what she did was wrong (homophobic + selfish), you also have to understand that she probably just became an adult and was raised mostly by her grandma who has dementia, she’s practically still a child. she’s allowed to make mistakes, learn from them, and do better. i’m sure she’ll come around once she sees how ho and haebeom are always there for each other and how genuine their affection and feelings are

ppl aint gon show empathy when this girl out here seeling ppls information, basically being homophobic and giving lame ass excuses as to whyy she but in other peoples relationship. So what is she just became an adult she has got to have a little bit of sense. Being abanonded and meddiling in someones realtionship- then using it as excuse is so fucking weird and not valid at all. im really trying to be open minded here but please dotell me why the heck she did all of that. shes not a child anymore shes a young adult so she should know her actions are gonna have consequences.shes allowed to make mistake but mistakes like these?? messing with someonne else's life?? heck no.

I don't think she is really homophimobic herself, she's saying that if words go out they will be rejected by their community and she can't fathom the relationship being woth the risk. About the community, if we are talking realistically, she's sadly probably right, Korea isn't very accepting of homosexual relationship and even less so in such rural areas. That's in manwa and manga you rarely see characters in a gay relationship being very open about it but hiding it instead (except for some close friends or family members). She absolutely shouldn't have put Haebeom on those dating sites, and should have just talked to him about her worries though. She apologized for it, but her aggressive reaction is still immature and she's clearly projecting her own pain into their relationship. Basically, "how can you choose possible isolation and rejection, when I would do anything to avoid it but I am not truly able to"

As someone who’s a young adult from a relatively conservative Asian culture myself even I know that you shouldn’t over step boundaries and sign someone up for dating sites WITHOUT their consent or knowledge! Just thinking about it happening to myself or a loved one is super freaking creepy and I would drop that person out of my life asap. You can’t be mad at people for hating on her when she shows zero empathy towards the mcs who’ve been nothing but kind towards her

Oh, yeah she absolutely went over the line there! I'm not defending her actions or attitude here, I just wanted to point that her reaction probably has more to do with her projecting her feelings of rejection than homophobia.

jaehyuk isn’t perfect and there’s a lot that they haven’t addressed (his past homophobia and his bi awakening) but his growth/improvement is very satisfying, it was gradual and felt natural. i loved noticing his little changes during their fubu era—slowly being aware of garam’s hardships that come with bottoming, taking care of garam little by little, from not being able to look at garam’s face to fucking him missionary style (in which he could see garam’s dick) and now he even sucked garam off (icb i actually teared up i’m so proud of him)

i’m sooo glad i pushed thru reading despite jaehyuk pissing me off every chapter, stayed bc i absolutely love garam’s character and how he only started catching feelings after jaehyuk began to treat him so much better like he deserves. and can i say i just love when jaehyuk sucks and bites his cheeks (ch 34 is my fav bc of this which i think also helped urge me to continue reading lol) altho ofc i can’t blame people dropping this, but it was totally worth all the frustrations and i can’t wait for more (hopefully jaehyuk doesn't disappoint us too much again) :’)

also have to mention that while the premise is pretty cliche (roommates turned fubus) the plot points are pretty unique imo (or maybe i just haven’t read enough bl manhwas) but there’s a lot that i don’t normally see in other manhwas like visiting the proctologist and the overall aftercare needed after intense sex. i even love the fact that they’re going to classes and have exams (some uni manhwas barely include this and i hate it T___T)

wow i didn’t even need to write my comment you said it all and more!

skimmed the latter half bc i lost interest and was more invested in the side couple only to be disappointed in bogeum :/ jaeyi’s past was nothing to be ashamed of, she’s a consenting adult and was single at the time. her sleeping with people with no strings attached and uploading sexy pics online before they got together doesn’t make her dirty, less of a woman, or less deserving of love!! while she made problematic decisions (hiding the issue from dawoon), my girl still deserves so much better than a man who slutshames her :/

    That_one_dumb_gay_bitch November 27, 2024 2:14 pm

For real I was honestly confused for a large part of this because I just didn't get why it's such a big deal who cares what she did while single it's not like she was still doing it

jaehee loves him sooo dearly without reservations that dojun realized that that’s what he deserves, to be loved and to be treated kindly T____T

this is sooo good the art, the plot, the slowburn, the humor, ceres and diarin’s personalities and dynamics >>>>

also love how the plot doesn’t stray away from the premise but slowly reveals that there is more to it—about diarin’s family, about who ceres really is and the things he had to go through, the probable connection of the priests and/or lady charlotte to the 8th battalion. i can’t wait for moreee <3

i'm glad i didn't drop this despite not having much interest at the beginning, i really like taerin's personality—how she values her platonic relationships, how she is unapologetically herself, and how passionate she is at what she does. i just hope she stops focusing on the revenge and starts to pay more attention to the things yoonsik does for her (but ig i can't blame her since they had an agreement)...

overall, i love the pacing so far since i love me a good slowburn. hopefully it doesn't get too dragged tho and that yoonsik and taerin get more moments together, i really hate when she interacts and gets flirty with kyungmo

kiatkiat July 5, 2024 1:10 pm

they're a match made in heaven fr !!! they both pay a lot of attention to each other, exert effort to get to know the other, and both are just genuinely kind that they tend to say what the other wants to hear... the pacing and development are perfect and natural too. i can't wait for their feelings to deepen, i just hope the angst would be light if there's any

yeonan is one of the prettiest manhwa characters i've seen and i'm so glad the author knows and utilizes that fact. those panels in dalguk's pov of yeonan sucking him off, yeonan crying after choking, yeonan's face dripping with cum... i'm not surprised guk can't get enough of him i'm sure he'd make mpreg real if he could
