It’s a safe generic BL plot just with the “genders” flipped. No biggie if you didn’t like it. I thought it was the 3rd couple story that was updated not the second’s one. Seems everyone else who’s downvoted you like these basic plots regardless that it’s literally the same omegaverse exploitation dynamics. You’re hard press to find a omegaverse that’s truly wholesome and proactive at the same time.

I can give you a simple breakdown.

The setting of this story is a world where nobody can lie.
Our MC Saegye is what we call a 'dare'. A person who can lie, but it hurts when he does it.

In comes Jinsol, who says a lot of enigmatic mysterious things and is kind to Saegye. He also continuously hints that he knows about Dares.

Saegye then think that Jinsol is also possibly a dare, but when he checks (your status as a truth or dare is marked on your tongue with a letter) he's wrong.

But it's all a bit sus and mysterious, because of all the mysterious because of Jinsol's actions and words. But Jinsol continuously says he loves Saegye, and since he appears to be a 'truth' Saegye connects with him and starts to develop feelings of love.

Fast forward to the now and the last couple chapters, it's been revealed that Jinsol is neither a truth nor dare, but a 'false' someone who can ONLY tell lies. Turns out he's able to swap his ability with someone through kissing them (this is how he "proved" he was a Truth)

In a shocker, Jinsol betrays Saegye, and through a kiss, is able to swap their abilities around. Therefore Jinsol is now able to both tell the truth and lie and Saegye is now stuck with only being able to lie. Saegye is shocked and betrayed, thinking he had found someone who loved him.


Saegye then finds Jinsols diary, which helps explain his backstory. We find out that Jinsol lives with his sister and their abusive father. On top of that, his sister is being stalked and harassed, with it getting worse as times goes on. But he can't do anything (E.g., go the police) because he's only able to lie. Also their mum is out of the picture, so no help there. And their dad is awful to his sister.

He then develops this plan, where he finds a Dare (Saegye) to steal their ability to then essentially kill their father by burning down the house. He's then able to get away with it because he'll be able to tell lies, getting him and his sister to safety. So as of now - he's pulled off this plan.

The big kicker is he DOES have feelings for Saegye. Who is now himself trying to follow Jinsol and find out the real truth.

But this story is really great, because it shows how each character has been shaped by their personal circumstances and that's what drives their actions.

Anyway I missed a couple things out, but this is the main stuff. Hope it helped!
