He met him online and he is also a part of the very few people that know Ci Nian's secret. They will meet up but probably after 20 or more chapters. Both of them are friends but they had lost contact since. He also likes making fun of Ci Nian(as friends ofc) and sometimes he can get a bit overboard with the teasing. There was this funny scene in Ci Nian's wedding where LXM(Cross dressed) stumbled on Doctor Zhao and accidentally touched LXM's padded bra and then he slaps him.

Yes, they do end up together but not in the way you thought. The bitch Xin Nian you are referring about is not the one who ends up with Ah Si but rather the real Xin Nian. The real Xin Nian and Ci Nian actually met a few years ago and they were in really good terms. Ci Nian even protected him even when they didn't know each other well. The father, Xu Jianguo, picked up the wrong person and thought that he was his second son but actually an impostor. I think the real name of the bitch Xin Nian is actually Li Pingshi. And don't worry, the real Xin Nian is waaaaay different from the impostor. Their reunion at the end was also beautiful, Xin Nian was giving him a late wedding gift and told Ci Nian that he was the beggar he helped back then, his real brother. And in the end, they hugged each other, Ci Nian welcomed his younger brother.

Xiao Mao and the doctor's lovestory will be included in the side story but only for a very few amount of chapters. And the story doesn't immediately end after their wedding, it is near the end but not the actual end. The second child was still not born by the time their wedding happened so the author dedicated a few chapters with the child. There were kinda two ends to the actual story. The first was when Ci Nian was being he was interviewed about his life after everything that happened, and the second end(and final end) was when he met his actual brother. There are also sidestories, the first one was about Wowo at 18, his younger brother, and Wowo's lover. Our Wowo is all grown-up and gets a boyfie(๑•ㅂ•)و✧ and the last sidestory is about LXM and the doctor. Feel free to ask more questions! I don't mind.

The novel is already finished, what I meant to say is that the manhua will take a long time to end since we haven't even brushed the surface of Ci Nian's revenge. It's not clear how many manhua chapters it will take because some chapters in the novel are covered in 2 chapters in the manhua, sometimes shorter, sometimes longer. If I remember correctly, the novel has 108 chapters, 100 for the main story and the rest is for the sidestories. I think we are still in chapter 49 of the novel.
