Guys I am sorry if this has been asked because I couldn’t scroll 45 pages to find an answer but is this story finished or close to end? I feel like nothing happens and it’s been quite some chapters already. All I am seeing is no communication and Maxi over exhausting herself. No judgement I just plan to wait on it until its closer to end basically

I did a bit more research since I have the Novels. We are in book 4 of 11. So quite a while to go. We've only completed the first 10 chapters of book 4, we got 28 more to go.

Riftan witnesses Maxi's abuse at the hands of her father. He goes complete feral and Duke Croyso gets what he deserves from Riftan for hurting her. He does his best impressions of a ragdoll as Riftan attacks him and ends up with a permanent stutter. Justice for Maxi!!! And best karma considering he was beating her for stuttering and now he has one too
