(My summary is really rough but hopefully answers you question)
The goblin was put into the empress womb so that he'd survive and he grew to look exactly like the crown prince. The crown prince was a cruel guy and had hurt the goblin.
The goblin later fell in love and married the mc. The mc can't walk or see properly plus she won't be able to have kids either cuz of the abuse from her father.
The empress called the mc after marriage to do her magic thing
(Smth about seeing real stuff in dreams)and the empress mother went crazy over the fact the the goblin wasn't a goblin but her actual son. She then whipped the mc and almost killed her but the court lady who raised the goblin saved her and hid her.
The goblin went mad cuz he thought the mc died and got rid of his brother and the empress thus becoming emperor. When the court lady who hid the mc found out that the goblin is going to hurt the empress mother, she let the info about the mc being alive slip up.
Later the goblin got the mc back and now he doesn't let her out and puts her in supervision(the mc doesn't care cuz doesn't know) so in the end we don't know if the goblin keeps her in so that she'd be safe or cuz he doesn't wanna let her leave ever.
