The story was avarage and the main couple was kinda uninteresting, unfortunately. Very cliché too. All in all, it was a fine story tho.
I probably would have enjoyed this more if the ml really was just a psycho murderer who got off on killing people tbh lol(it's more fun seeing unhinged charas like that falling for a totally innocent chara to me). Also, even tho everything concluded in the ending, it still felt unsatisfying. Wish there were more side stories that showed their married life or smth, to tie everything together better, but it is also always fun to see official side stories that are AUs instead of epilogues, since they are rare, so it's alright i guess.
My biggest complaint in the end is that i wanted to see more of Grey(cop) x Demian(journalist). I totally shipped them in the main story and they were sneakily confirmed in the first side story with matching rings on their left ring fingers. I WANTED TO SEE THEM CONFIRMED IN THE MAIN STORY TOO┗( T﹏T )┛. Their dynamic was already cute as frenemies, so i wanted to see them as a couple too.. tbh, i found them cuter and more interesting than the main couple, they were probably what i liked the most about the whole story lol.

I really want to see more MCs like An Nuo. What i loved the most about him, is that despite being logical and rational, it didn't make him emotionless nor oblivious. When he started falling for Jing Ye, though confused at first, he didn't go into a denial stage that usual BL ukes and MCs tend to(which i'm so tired of). He ACTUALLY analyzed his own emotions and once he figured them out, he was more than open to expressing these emotions and entering the "love territory" with the ML. Seriously, where are these MCs? Is it my fault for mostly reading yaoi over shounen ai?(btw, idk why this is categorized as shounen ai, they clearly do it in the story, on screen too, so i'm like ??? not that i mind, i prefer it this way in fact, but yeah xd)
I also want to read more stories where the relationship between the main couple transitions so smoothly between strangers to lovers, where their relationship doesn't just start immedately off and continue with them being constantly distracted with how good looking the other is, but they stay focused on their own goals, while getting to know and slowly growing closer to eachother and then once they have grown closer they start being attracted to the other.

Well the novel is definitely more detailed than the manhua but if u read the manhua and continue in the novel that's fine too and it saves you more time! Depends on you which u wanna read but me personally I like the novel since the details and extra info helped me understand the story more but it's kinda long (⌒▽⌒)

In that way, both stories kinda reminded me of "Exclusive no love zone" as well, so i think you'll like them since you liked that one. One is called "You and I can't do this", this one is a cute office/coworkers romance. Reading the summery ended up initially turning me away from the story, making me think it would just be one of those classic rapey slave bl stories. But then i read some of the comments and they made me want to give it a try. And boy, am i glad i did. Though the story seems like it might be going that way at the beginning, it ends up being something completely different. Absolutely loved every turning point in this story, great plot, even greater characters, easy 5/5.
Fun fact: Igen's name means "yes" in my native language, made me chuckle throughout the story when i read it. I pronounce it differently now so that it won't take me out of the story anymore tho xd
I read this one of Yusa's work too because i really loved "To take an enemy's heart". Though this was a true rollercoester ride, it was a fun one. Halfway into the story i was really confused where the plot was going, especially with the alter ego thing, but everything ended good, so all's well. This ended up being one of those stories where i ended up preferring the side couple, Haga and Yidam were super cute(i especially liked Yidam's design and his eyes and their dynamic was one i really like). Solid 4/5, especially comperatively to the 5/5 that i gave to "To take an enemy's heart". Now just "Good day to go crazy" is left of Yusa's works to read eventually xd

I binged this right until ch 44 and was more or less fine. However, once i stopped there, i suddenly started feeling very disgusted and lowkey traumatized. Which was honestly quite the achivement, since i'm quite used to similar plots(my favorite dere type are yanderes afterall). I think what did it is how truly despicable and unloving this seme is. He truly just seems like he only wants the uke for his body. I've seen lots of despicable semes, but at least they genuinely were in love and eventually redeemed themselves, but this guy really has just gone way too far and doesn't seem like he's going to change anytime soon. I can't continue reading this. When the story is finished i might come back to see the ending at least(maybe it will entice me to read the rest idk), but until then i'm out.

I really liked this story, it was seriously adorable. I'm glad that Ash didn't end up being a trash seme like i feared in the beginning, cause Karlyle was my babyboi and he deserves the absolute best. That may have come outta nowhere, but it's honestly pretty rare for me to simp like this for one of the characters from the main couple in yaoi. I usually just think they're cute or handsome, and be done with it, but bro, i'm straight up jealous of Ash, cause damn, Karlyle is an absolute catch. He's handsome, competent, honest and straighforward and always tried his best to express his thoughts. Even traits that are usually negative, just made him more cute and lovable. F*ck, Ash is so lucky.
Anyways, i need to find more stories with masculine ukes who only ever topped before, but is first time bottoming for the ml seme(it's especially good if it's bc the uke likes the seme and that's why he is willing to do it and ends up liking it). Apparently i really like this dynamic, not just cause of my boi Karlyle, but there was one more manhwa i read before that had this dynamic and i really liked it in it as well(if anyones curious, it's called "Exotic Love", but i wouldn't exactly call that manhwa adorable and wholesome, even tho i really liked it personally xd)

Have you read Pizza delivery man and the Golden Palace? The bottom only top before he met the ml. The couple’s dynamic is kinda different from AshLyle but the the characters are really well-written and the story is wholesome (still on-going)
