READ MOST EVERYTHING
i love this manga but i kinda want fushi to also start adapting more to the environment around him, especially at school life and technology because we saw a bit of it before the knickers were brought back in but now he’s just a delinquent and it might be a bit boring to read it but i feel like it’s important that in order to survive such a modern world nowadays fushi needs to learn those things as regular humans do too, in order to make any impact and get anywhere… hopefully the author gets into that.
also i really really hate mitsuha and hayase’s descendants and all of them. especially mitsuha she’s just unbearable. it’s so funny because when i first met tonari i was annoyed by her but now she’s easily one of my top if not favorite character especially in this arc.
also, another thing- i really wonder how geography works in this world… as well as ethnicity. they’re in basically what is heavily implied to be modern japan, which as seen by mitsuha, is where the takanome province was. so hayase, perona, March, i am guessing they’re native Japanese descendants? but what makes it confusing is fushi is a “foreigner” (i wanna guess unknown native?) from a tundra but how was he able to walk to japan? 800 years is too short for tectonic plates to shift if we wanna go with pangaea theory also like hxh’s world it seems everyone still speaks and communicated via the same language, as fushi was able to easily communicate even after 800 years. so what is the geography and ethnic backgrounds of this world like? maybe i looked too much into it but it’s the one burning question i had.
