yall im really trying to enjoy this story cuz it fits all the kind of stuff i like in a bl like magic and hot top or whatever but it feels like its going incredibly fast with little explanation, plus each chapter seems really short,,, should i just pick up the novel instead?

it's the binding ritual that failed with the priest early on. he didn't realize it would lead Dominic to be captured.
Thank you because I’m starting to think people aren’t realizing that was the whole reason he stabbed himself. Clearly in the end he didn’t know it would lead him to putting Dominic in danger.
