I need my fellow Cherry Magic fans to check it out. Google it, vids are out for free. I need peeps to discuss this with! >.<
It's VERY different to the Japanese drama and draws upon the manga pretty well, while adding new characters and scenarios. Also, you'll learn a bit about Thai culture.
I'm having a little trouble keeping up with the names of characters but if madam noi is the office lady, then i already love her. ALSO. I came here just to say that the scene between rock and achi on the roof- "I'm stupid, aren't I?!?" "No- rock-" "I'm easy to fool?!?!" "No, I was thinking of something else!" was soooooooooo good. i had to play it twice (≧∀≦) the acting made it sooo funny
Haha! Yes, Madam Noi is Udon the cat, and Pai is Fujisaki, our fujoshi on the inside. Pai and Rock end up having their own little romance, though nothing's official till the final episode. There's also a bit of something between the boss Tanaka-san and Daj, though it isn't explicit till the final episode. I appreciate that they live in the real world where not everyone is gay.
I love that Karan is a terrible singer! Even in his head he's god awful. Meanwhile the actor is a fantastic singer. Do you have Spotify? There's a duet between Achi and Karan. Achi and Karan have their own songs too, Achi's is the best imo.
Anywho, keep me posted, it's fun to hear someone else experience this show! I used internet downloaders to keep them on my PC, same with the Japanese drama and anime.
I forgot, but yeah I do have a spotify. I don't mind that they made him a bad singer, it's kinda fun to see what will be different between the manga and the drama. I liked the plot with Pai and her ex too.
What do you think of the japanese drama? I haven't seen it. I watched SOME of the anime but not all of it.
I love the Japanese drama for the most part. Adachi and Kurosawa were handled well, with charismatic actors. I especially enjoyed Akaso Eiji as Adachi, he's very expressive. He's also fun in the Zom 100 film.
Tsuge and Minato were handled poorly. Tsuge's actor over acted, with his yelling to convey emotion. The Thai version handles their relationship so much more effectively. It helps that the episodes run twice as long so they have time to develop relationships.
Oh, in the Japanese drama, rather than singing, Kurosawa recites a poem in his head, which amuses and cringes out Adachi. I don't know if the actor can sing, but it's a cute moment.
I love the heck out of Pai. She's a badass and you gotta appreciate a woman who loves bacon. There's also a bacon callback later on.
Wow, our boys now go at it like rabbits! Like, CONSTANTLY in heat! lol
The special chapters gave a very satisfying conclusion.
Sangwoo was just too adorable with his marriage proposal that didn't go to plan. We don't get to see them get married, but they are living in the US and plan to soon. Sangwoo's parents had an interesting take on their relationship. The father's concerned that Sangwoo doesn't emotionally understand love, while the mother just wants to ensure Sangwoo is in good health and doesn't catch anything.
From the engagement it flashes forward six years to them living overseas. Jang Jaehong attempts to break off the engagement, and just about loses his mind trying to seduce Sangwoo and figure out what his brother sees in that weirdo.
Also fantastic to see the boys achieve their career dreams and live in luxury, frequently going on trips and having date nights. They even have a cat, well, Jaeyoung has a cat, Sangwoo has a fluffy housemate that isn't keen on him.
OOOOO LAWDDDD thank you for thisss
