I don’t get what people find so interesting or enjoyable about this. This has to be one of the most boring manhwa I’ve ever read. There’s absolutely no redeeming characters in this. Every character that I’ve read about in the 30 chapters I’ve read so far have been assholes.
I just skipped to the middle/end instead of reading the beginning.
I like this one tho! Compared to other typical power struggle BL manhwa. I like this that the higher ups didn’t get to be imprisoned. Usually power struggle plot tend to make everyone go to jail by the end. Probably it’s boring for you since both ML and MC are anti-romantic type. But I like it it’s a refreshing take on a practical rather than idealized, transactional and circumstantial relationship.
I thought it was very dry to so far. And the chemistry between lawyer and chairman is minimal. The sexy scenes are the only interesting thing up to this point. I kind of want to spoil myself with the r15 for what is in the safe, but I know I will be bored af after that.
I’ve only just started reading the first chapter, but did wolf boy just eat/kill someone and throw their clothes away? Did I understand that correctly? Is that legal in this world? I didn’t read any other comment about this. How are they just eating each other like it’s nothing! Isn’t that murder!? I had to drop this. It makes absolutely no sense to me and I’m just going to pretend I never read this.
i think somewhere in the beginning it said that alphas eat betas and betas are just livestock if i remember correctly
I was initially interested in this bc I thought it was heading in a different direction but the amount of rape, non con and dubcon in this is staggering. Every other chapter is just fucking. Barely any plot and what plot there is sucks. Dropping it.
So this was just a story about a pedo with some rape/stalking mixed in. One of the worst things I’ve ever had the misfortune of reading.

I am sorry but I completely disagree. The chemistry between the main characters was off the charts, even without dialogue the sketches that were drawn as well as the images of playing the piano …. You can see the shift in the characters attitudes about themselves about life and each other evolve over time.

Found Director Lee(ML) to be irritating and annoying. I wish he would’ve ended up with his bff or fallen for a beta. You almost never see manhwas where the MC ends up with the bff or betaxbeta. I gave this 3/5 stars.
First, why are the official translations so bad? Second, all the bosses/alphas in this seem like aholes. The “relationship” progresses so quickly. I will never understand stories where the uke falls in love with a trash seme. I wished they showed what ended up happening to Ahn and Director Baek. Such trash. This overall kinda sucked.
Chapter 18.2 is actually chapter 19. Super annoyed I purchased chapter 19 on mangaplaza thinking it was new when it was just the 18.2 I read here. Ugh
