Child would have to be resistant from the get go think of it like a pregnat poisonous snake. The snake babies genes are impeded with poison immunity.
Since her blessing is embedded in her genetics I would think it would work the same
I think it's not how it works, it's not like their powers are hereditary. It's more of like your blessing, each person have different kinds of power. Like for instance if the brother's ml has a power of telepathy then he should also have the same thing if they both inherited it from their birth mother, but they don't. So it's more likely kind of like a blessing or a curse kind of thing the moment you're born in their world but it would be interesting if the ml and fl's child would have poison related attribute. If we go by the rule of the world they built then these gifts don’t awaken until you reach 12 yrs old. So even if their kid did have immunity as their gift, it wouldn’t awaken until years after being born. So this should mean that she’s incapable of carrying a pregnancy to term UNLESS they have a miracle baby who gets awakened from the moment the egg gets fertilized. Which would be dicey because then that’s gonna show the author’s opinion on when a fetus becomes a person so… yeah I kinda just hope they don’t touch that. Unless they have something later on where she either loses or has her gift change. Or maybe if she does enough training maybe she can figure out how to temporarily turn it off or something?
I find it kinda weird that all these other gifts we’ve seen so far are ones that people don’t always have on (3rd prince isn’t always talking via telepathy and her mom wasn’t singing 24/7) whereas hers is constantly on. Like even the ML just has moments where he’s actively using his gift which is when he gets sick.
I can’t for the life of me remember the title or cover page. But here’s the plot:
The royal family all is gifted with innate magical abilities. Fl is red haired and the daughter of the previous empress but when her ability is found to be poison (all her bodily fluid are poison) she kills her mom by accident and then the new empress and her children like totally abuse her. Yada yada there’s a war and the knight from the other country comes to settle everything w a marriage. So the family decides to send the fl so assassinate him w her ability but on their first night it’s found that her poison just makes him healthier (he’s sickly so he always wears his armor). But yeah she’s very cold toward him and he’s kinda smitten (not outwardly but it may be in part to her ability.)
