guyys which chapter does the season 2 end at? Do I have to read it from the beginning?
Currently (not including the last anime episode) it’s around 104-105. If you’re an only anime watcher, I honestly recommend reading everything because the manhwa is js breathtaking but it’s js a suggestion
I totally agree with sjaintgotnun, you won't lose anything if you read everything from the start, THE ART IS PHENOMENAL AND WORTH IT, I re-read this over 5 times already before the anime even exist

In the first chapters first page there was a letter written in Japanese and it says “I loved you, No matter how it ends, I can say it with all my heart”

Its obvious she’s going to end up with Shinpei. From the first chapters first page the author made it very clear that Satoko will eventually die and Shinpei will long for her until the day he dies. He was sitting holding a letter what seems to be Satoko’s last will, surrounded by fireflies confirming that it really is Shinpei because he was the one who showed fireflies to Satoko.
Its just so heartbreaking that she will die no matter what cuz I hoped that she’d hold onto dear life because of love

Now that you’ve said it, it really can be Satoko. But the figure resembled that of a man and their clothes seemed like what men in Japan used to wear in Edo era. I don’t think that Satoko will live that long given her condition but still it’s a nice theory. Also I kinda know Japanese a liiiittle bit and read what was written in the letter in the first page andd from what I’ve read it said “I loved you, no matter how it ends, I can say it with all my heart”

For fucks sake I let this story marinate thinking oh 82chapters should be enough to find out the paternity test but WHY THE FUCK are they still dragging this whole shitshow up God this is frustrating af.
