I just love the atmosphere of this comic. It's so slow, relaxed and seductive.

Exactly what I was about to comment . The atmosphere is strangely languishing yet tense. I feared the cliché depiction of the porn industry and everything related to it with the rushed and seemingly fake emotions and the distasteful sex scenes... BUT ! It's brilliantly handled. In the sex scene with Mc Queen I could almost FEEL the "faked" affection and tenderness from him (didn't seem fake at all), and the complete surrender of the lead to his budding affection. I could ramble on about this for hours
Bottom line is: the theme is common yet the angle and the way the story is told are BRILLIANT ! (⌒▽⌒)

I miss LiHuan and YuYang...
Nothing wrong with the other couples, I just wish we would go back to them instead of making the story swell like a balloon with all these other couples.

Yep ( ̄∇ ̄") tbh I would have preferred if he gave the other their one story because I don’t read this for them lol (or at least not now, I think the story of the mc haven’t progressed enough to focus like that on other couple) (or maybe I just think that because I don’t really like the new couple I don’t know ( ̄∇ ̄"))

I really liked this. The only thing I had an issue with sometimes were the names of the characters. It was quite obvious the authors didn't know English very well and just chose English words that sounded cool. I didn't mind it that much for the most part but I had some trouble feeling intimidated by evil schemer called "Humpty Dumpty" because, well, Humpty Dumpty is a chubby, giant egg-shaped guy who's best known for falling off a wall lol

Maybe you're just dense that you didn't get the names of the characters. Example, Shell's name is Shell because he hides in his shell, not showing who he truly is to anyone. One (Eric) is the one for Shell. Pain is named pain because he will always be in pain because he never got to be with the one he loves.

Yeah that's kind of really obvious and straightforward and I'm sure everyone caught that, myself included. Still didn't like the names of 99% of the characters. I didn't mind most of them too much but I did kind of cringe at some of them because they were a little pretentious. Then again, as much as I liked this, the story overall was kind of pretentious as well so maybe the names fit it just fine lol.
LONG RANT AHEAD!!!
I'm not gonna lie, I'm a bit disappointed in the ending. I know a lot has to do with koogi's troubles with lezhin and just wanting to end the series as soon as possible, but that doesn't erase the fact it was rushed and unsatisfactory.
None of the characters changed in any way. They went in promising directions, Sangwoo became more vulnerable, Bum became more assertive, but as we neared the end they just went back to the archetypes they were at the beginning. Sangwoo died being the same narcissistic psychopath he always was, his issues with his mom were never solved, he started changing promisingly, becoming dependent on Bum, but at some point it just... Stopped, because koogi probably realized changing him wouldn't fit with the time frame she wants to end the comic.
Bum died being just as dependent, insecure, lonely and self-destructive as he started off. He became more assertive and there was a very interesting shift in their dynamics around when Bum bought the ring. I loved seeing him realize his own value to Sangwoo, Sangwoo becoming insecure and dependent, Sangwoo becoming vulnerable while Bum finds his confidence and doesn't just mindlessly put up with Sangwoo treating him like shit. But it never went anywhere, one misunderstanding and Bum just reverted back to being meek and submissive, and Sangwoo turned back into a psycho capable of killing anyone.
No character changed. No one learned anything. The character arcs never took us anywhere, they went in one direction and then looped right back to where they started. A ton of questions were left unanswered. Honestly, given how much time I've spent reading and speculating this series, I'm bummed. I expected more, not the predictable route we got, of Sangwoo dying without atoning for anything, Seungbae saving the day the conventional way and Bum killing himself because he lost the target of his unhealthy idealization. So frustrated because I know koogi can do better :( If only lezhin didn't suck so much...
