This is just a hunch and I may be wrong, but the friend seems too important to me to just be killed so early in the story this easily. (Also, compared to the pace of the story until now, it somehow feels like it would escalate the situation too much, too quickly...?)
Well, at least I *really* hope so. He's pretty much the only worthwhile person in Ah-in's life right now
I agree too. The friend just seems too important. This is also a hunch of mine but I think that the seme kidnapped the friend and that the friend got injured trying to fight back or something. And I also think that the seme will send a picture of the kidnapped friend or tell the uke that his homie is with the seme to force the MC to go to the next visit. But that’s just speculation.
You're right, that's definitely a possibility.
I think he wouldn't even need to do anything as incriminating as sending a picture if he did - just his friend going missing like that at this point would probably be sending a clear enough message to Ah-in already, all things considered...
Or maybe the author will surprise us with something entirely unexpected. I'm already super curious - though also low-key anxious - about the next development (๑•﹏•)
Daaaamn. ୧☉□☉୨ What a chapter! What. A. Chapter. I don't know how many times I've re-read this now. I'm honestly feeling completely dazed.
This chapter just literally managed to hit *all* of my buttons to utter *perfection* in one single, virtuosic go (and that happens very rarely for me, even with my most favorite works). What a masterpiece. (ノ•°Д°•)ノ
It's almost uncanny, really. It's like Byeonduck climbed into my head, proceeded to dig up the single most obviously unrealistic and nonsensical, secretly cherished fantasy of mine from my subconscious, and then just went and drew *exactly* what I wanted to see, down to every little detail. (๑•﹏•)⋆* ⁑⋆*
The way the story had been going until now... Well, I was expecting some improvement. But I honestly wasn't expecting anything even remotely like *this*. What a beautiful surprise gift! o(╥﹏╥)o It's so unreal, I still partly feel like I just hallucinated this entire thing due to lack of sleep from staying up too long reading manga. Just wow. (◎-◎)
That camera should have been transferring what it recorded in real-time over the internet. Though I guess that would have ended / escalated the story too quickly ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
Also, am I the only one who thinks that the killer might possibly want to drag on this pretense game for longer, and might therefore just end up taking away or breaking his glasses under some pretext?
"Unfortunately, you're not the main character."
So... This made me wonder (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
What if ... this is actually ultimately all a super twisted "I was reborn as the serial killer in a story I wrote" - isekai?
...
...
"I don't intend to die like the killer in the original novel though. Fortunately, I already know of all the male lead's secrets and details about his private life. I'm going to use my knowledge and the problems he currently faces with his unfaithful and greedy lover to step in at the right moment and change the story to my advantage!"
Killer: *murders people in the most brutal and bloody way*
Glasses guy: *exploits the cute MC for money in a cold one-sided relationship*
Readers: "That four-eyed bastard, how DARE he! I hope he DIES!! (╯°Д °)╯╧╧"
Manhwa priorities. When reading, there are certain universal laws that will apply at all times.
Dealing with the trash boyfriend always takes complete precedence before anything else. We can deal with the serial killer later * ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
* (unless he turns out to kill trash boyfriend and treat MC better... in which case -->
Readers: ╮( ˘ 、 ˘ )╭ "Oh, he's redeemable. Surely he has his sad childhood backstory reasons and such..." )
Me reading 2nd chapter: *admires beautiful art* ... But why the heck is he standing under the running shower with the towel..?! XD
