Also, I ship them in a platonic way, specifically Jikook, ya know with their dynamic chemistry. I found it amusing that one character just looks similar to Jimin in my eye, and then, boom, other characters starts becoming similar in my eyes as well. So, I just commented kinda assured that BTS won't ever come across my comment on a pirate manga site.
Just side note, I'm kinda uncomfortable with BTS members x Your Name fanfics as well. But I let them do their thing as I did mine, because we do it on platforms which BTS members have very little to no likely chance to come across these themselves. (like AO3, Wattpad, and Tumblr) (Twitter is risky on that note)

ESPECIALLY when you're making it sexual, and even more so when you're straight up teasing or telling the people involved about how much you like that pairing. Human beings are not unfeeling characters, and idk why you think idols don't know about how fans ship them. Like nori said, there are fans who even scream ship names on vlives or otherwise push their fantasies onto the people involved in the pairing (which is very not okay!!!). I've been shipped with a friend I saw purely as a friend before, and that made me feel incredibly uncomfortable around him and irritated at my friends doing that. At least I had the option to call my friends out on it and say it wasn't okay; however, because an idol's image makes or breaks their career, idols can't even say anything if shipping makes them feel uncomfortable. I mean, many don't even have the freedom to date because fans will get jealous (like wtf?)!
