Chapter 33 made Kotaro my favorite character in this manga. I liked him before this chapter and didn't agree with all the haters that came rushing in throwing insults at him without waiting to see how the situation will evolve. The situation developed in the best way all thanks to Kotaro's kindness and self-sacrificial nature. Giving up his own happiness for Satoko, as he has been doing since they were children. Great character writing.
