Well actually turns out I haven't read the same novel, but a similar one with the same premise, but even more dark. Its called "Turns out I'm crazy" , and it's on novelupdates. The guy is even more of a jerk there and literally ruined his love interests life and its like karma for him to experience all that in the body of his lover.
There was this super amazing scene, i think might happen here too , where he gets really turned on by his appearance in the mirror( when he's possessing his lovers body) , and he gets all horny and calls his own name, and the younger version of the jerk guys witnesses this and is quite horrified.
Oh that seems so messed up, I love the concept. Well thank you for the recommendation at least!

But don't let that keep you from reading, because I have literally been obsessed with reading the novel for a full week. It's really good.
Even if I almost went crazy because of a certain plot twist at the end.

Honeslty I feel bad for Taejoo. I know what it feels like to lose someone, and at some point it gets so hard to keep thinking of them and you're just so constantly sad and I hated feeling like that, so I just repressed the feelings and moved on because I couldn't take it anymore. I think that's what Taejoo did. He never properly faced his hurt, and just pushed it aside to try and recover, and now it's all resurfacing and coming back at him.
However it was definitely wrong of him to deny closure to Joyoon. I can even understand that he wants to move on, because seeing Joyoon brought back that wave of pain he doesn't want to acknowledge, but he was also selfish in not giving the closure to Joyoon, because a part of him still wanted him.
Its all coming back to bite him in the ass now, the tidal wave has broken the floodgate he made. I think the author did a really good job making everyone very human and has a very good grasp of emotions.
I just hate the fact that he won't end up with Tang Shuo in the end and goes back to that scumbag abuser Gu Yansheng. Tang Shuo is so sweet and perfect

All of us feel really annoyed by Li Chengxiu being such a pushover and letting Shao Qun walk all over him, but I think that Li is a really strong character. Even though this is also a typical scum gong, wife chasing novel , I think this is actually one of the far more self aware and well written ones
It's actually a true insight into how powerless someone with no money is when subjected to the desires of the rich and powerful. Shao qun can get away with anything he does including abusing and forcing Li to be with him
Li has no money and no family to even stand on 2 feet and oppose Shao Qun or take revenge against him. All he can do is run away and try to live his life quietly. My hurt really breaks for him, he has such a tragic past but he is still able to go on living, and once he decided he no longer wanted Shao Qun he is firm on it. His kindness and perseverance makes him strong to me
Even in the ending of the novel, I don't feel that Li chengxiu really loves Shao Qun. He chooses him simply because he knows that he has no other choice and Shao Qun baby traps him.
It is a bleak but fitting ending. Shao Qun knows that now he loves Li way more than Li will ever love him. Li Chengxiu is still cautious of Shao Qun. There's an incident in the extras where Li is sent a photo of Shao Qun apparently cheating on him(he is not really), but Lj simply deletes the photo, as he never trusted Shao Qun again. When Shao Qun finds out that Li did not care and still doesn't trust him after almost 2 years, the devastation he feels is satisfying. He knows that it will be a long amd arduous journey to get Li to treat him like before, and he knows this situation is one of his own making. The Li chengxiu that wholeheartedly loved him is no more
Perhaps one day Li will grow to love Shao Qun once again, but I do like that the novel acknowledges that as of the end, Li does not love him back and does not trust him so easily.
Also it's a widely known fact that Shao Qun is the most scum of 188 boy group, it's a long running joke

I don't think he is a pushover. He just powerless before a way too powerful opponent. I mean, you can escape but what is stopping from chasing you and limiting your escape routes? Few means.
LCX does come around to love SQ, in his own ways, in the extras. They do have a fight where LCX misunderstands that SQ cheated on him and LCX remains indifference, despite being very hurt, to SQ’s horror. SQ is extremely hurt about LCX’s indifference and explains to him shut the misunderstand and have an open conversation. LCX then admits his fears about their relationship. He admits his love for SQ silently in his heart.
Even after years, SQ does realizes LCX is still guarded to him and doesn’t treat him with open adoration as before. SQ also knows he’s the only one to blame for this. I actually was satisfied with the ending.
It's a problem for our society too most of us read about it may be fiction for some but reality to others I have known friends and loved ones who were in the same situation it's a hard harsh reality
Honestly, good. I feel like a lot of people forget that once a relationship is strained, it's impossible for it to go back to before. You'll always get doubts, you'll always think back to that thing that happened
Its not universal to every thing that happens, but if its severe enough, like cheating or, you know, rape and kidnapping, it is what will happen no exceptions. Its kind of refreshing to see that in fiction instead of a chasing arc, forgiveness and then everything is well and good UwU
