I like how this story deviates ever so slightly from a typical isekai. Also, the art style reminds me so much of Suit no Sukima.

The comments are full of people with poor reading comprehension. Louie’s life was not at risk. Her sister (the queens) was. The rebels are using Louie for their goals because he has royal blood. In that situation, the queen would obviously come first, especially since they’re literally sisters and she has a blood oath dedicated to her sister. Rubi is a knight and duke and her life revolves around the safety and sanctity of the emperor and empire. Her love for Louie isn’t low but sometimes responsibility precedes over love, especially when he was safer than the empress. I hate the sister but she’s also supposedly changing the lives of the peasants while punishing the nobility. Eat the rich!
