I don’t know if the author thought about it that deeply, but I feel like this type of (attempted) humour should not have the already disadvantaged as the but of the joke, but the opposite.
I don’t know the best way to do it, but I feel that it should be done with the intent of empowering the party that would usually be discriminated against. They could have also let it be what it is. Make the sweet parts sweet, the dark parts dark.
Some mangakas just seem to have the gift. I’ll still read it, but it gives a sense of dissonance worse than some manga that have worse characters or more disturbing subject matter.
Unnecessary opinions aside, thankfully I have low standards and read fast.
How is this cute coming of age and growing into one boys sexuality and first love on one side, and scary kidnapping, child prostitution, human trafficking that resulted in a murderous psycho yandere hellbent on revenge who is definitely going to go after the former on the other side.
Can u tell me the stories between Seven and Eight and what Eight's problems with the whole story is?
I can't really tell them aparts, many new names all of a sudden, and the transitions between panels that are so fast and back and forth are also not helping...
And who is Kanzaki-kun? I suddenly kinda lost track in this chapter..especially when Eight talk on the phone and why he seemed to hate Seven?
Here’s what I gathered:
-the ‘father’ at the end isn’t their parent. He took in little kids as orphans and used them as prostitutes
-since he’s peddling child prostitutes to make connections, it’s probably some sort of underground yakuza type of world
-the kids grew up together and were like siblings, with only each other
-now they’re older. Seven has left/escaped
-eight is seeking some sort of twisted revenge for all the (probably) horrible stuff he’s had to experience
-someone else is possibly behind him pulling the revenge strings
-they want seven to take part
-eight must have had a special connection with seven and resents him for leaving
-now that he sees him happy, with another guy, he’s going to ruin everything
-our darling wonderful main character is probably going to have a bad experience before seven saves him somehow
-the ‘father’ recognizes that the man who died was a client and suspects eight
I hope we can find out soon!!
I love MA’s art style so much. Also the fact that she doesn’t get carried away with unrealistic body builds (well...to a certain degree). These guys are slender, but very normal. The seme even has slight rolls when he bends his stomach, which even very skinny people will.
I honestly don’t need reality in my manga since I’m here for fun and enjoyment, but that doesn’t mean I don’t appreciate it. Not to mention some artists get carried away. Also her faces are soooo handsome.
Thanks for letting me read this gem.
I’m stuck in a hate hate relationship with this manga. I won’t drop it since I need some sort of resolution, but seriously. Seriously. Where are the adults? Does this school have teachers besides that freaky guy who hasn’t come back yet but is still lurking in the background somewhere.
This made me feel yucky and almost nothing makes me feel yucky. Azusa has been violated mentally, physically, and spiritually.
And like, it must have been painful to shove that sharp and poky key up his ass. Whyyyyuy. He should have just gone without the key.
Ogawa Chiseeeeee put me out of my misery. It feels like there are a lot of chapters left. Ughhhh. I really love her art style though.
Truthfully, the school would have gotten shot up already.
Not that I thinks it’s right, but I wonder if he would perceive sex differently if he put himself in the place of a ‘victim’ rather than ‘the perpetrator’. Obviously his whole concept of sex is extremely skewed by his past, but I’m really interested to see where the mangaka goes from here.
I trust that she won’t have this cute lil horny teen rape someone he loves. But never know I’ve been fooled before.
A BL manga that has explored what BL manga is from a neutral party’s point of view. Although it was brief I’m impressed!!!
