I’m assuming that the plan the prince had with Navier is to make the empress be his wife one way or another. That is why navier is getting closer to rashta to set things in motion. The king actually loves the empress but because she’s so proper and they both don’t know how to communicate he doesn’t know she has feelings for him too. At least she didn’t think she did until now. That’s also why he doesn’t get jealous or rashta but of the empress. He only likes rashta because he believes she weak and is needy of him and he loves that because he can’t get that from the empress. Rashta is literally everything he desires from the queen. Anyways once they divorce the whole issue is going to be then the empress finding out about said plan and feel betrayed cause she ends up having feelings for the prince and while the prince ended up having feelings for her too it’s like a big misunderstanding lol. From there who knows where the story will go!
