I personally hated the first 20-30 chapters and would've stopped reading the story if it wasn't for a friend insisting how good the story was and that it was one of her favs. Since there was never a redemption or chasing arc, I couldn't really like Jae-In until the end. I understand he went through a lot and acted that way because he was broken, but it was still hard to forgive.... But well, they steadily built a deeper bond, grew into their relationship and slowly built their trust in each other.... That was nice to see. And Omg, that kid is just such a cutie!
