I guess that his mother kept telling him that he's just like his father when he was a kid and he actually became like that after her death by killing women who looked like her. When she died, Sangwoo must've been already mentally broken to the point of taking revenge on his father, and that began the whole killing thing.
It bothers me that the semes are actual beasts. The mangaka could've made them werewolves or something, this is just so awkward to imagine. But the story is kind of sweet that I can't stop but keep reading ╮(￣▽￣)╭

I think the storyline is okay. Except the artist really needs to put a lot of work to improve the drawing style. Because in this line of profession, only beautiful art can pique people's interest, then the story.

I think the big downside here is because they're living underground and they don't get enough food supplies. Any ghouls will die at this stage...
