It's indeed sad that after all the adventure together with her family and friends, Emma lost her memory. However, let's not forget that the most important thing like Norman said, is that she is still alive. She's alive! Even though Emma has no recollection of her family, she still got back living with them; she can make new memories with them. Hopefully , she ended up remembering but even if she did not, she is still able to make new memories with all of them!
Furthermore, I agree with y'all about the ending being rushed. There were events that got glossed over but it was still a good read tho.ヾ(☆▽☆)
One can see the difference between her being with that boy compared to being with Haena. Like, look how excited she is!! ヾ(☆▽☆)
