Its like it seemed he would become part of the story as he seemed to pick of hints of child abuse but then was just cut out. Idk to me it just seems like there could've been more done there. It was rushed towards the end n that always makes me salty when the pacing is fine and then boom the author is like nah here have the ending NOW
