i think it's the proofreaders- or whoever the finalists are, just not doing a good enough job double or even triple checking the translations before they get published
for all we know, it could also be someone's second or third language ¯_(ツ)_/¯ but i agree, i've seen many 'officials translations' get posted with little mistakes or mistypes
