    i think in the beginning mister j said that he had eaten his brother (or someone else had eaten him) , which is why he went “missing” . i don’t know if im right tbh this is just what my head is telling me LMFAOO

    I don’t think they are actually cousins I thinks it’s bc they’re close and the Chinese honorifics were translated to cousin

    I think it was just a mistranslation, remember the first translator use to translate it to "brother""? and also secretary lin mentioned that he has no family other than his auntie, he called brother xu "best friend" too on a panel from the flashback.
