It feels very inconsistent. The part where he just "didn't pay attention" and got caught 3 times in a matter of seconds is just so absurd to me. How am I supposed to see the MC as a strong character if he just randomly doesn't notice an attack coming his way 50% of the time?
And how come the squad captain, who was hyped up to be very strong, is suddenly the weakest member?

i feel like this fight was more interesting in the novel, cant recall it clearly cause it was a few years back, but i really remember the fight having a good feel to it.
