Yes, he know's her from university, but she doesn't know yet. He falls in love with her in that time, he also admires her, but cause she was engaged with the other guy (i don't remember his name lol) he don't want to interfere. So he resign himself to know she was happy with another man. Until they meet again in the bar. And yes, he is a real demon.
