Niv, I feel you. I think her only few options if she really likes the guy are 1. she should be celibate or 2. only sleep people that she’d never care about. So far with little to go on it seems she wants to have the best of both worlds but for some reason she can’t. So she should chose what matters more sex or a relationship. Then go to therapy IMO.
That made me think about sexuality... In Western countries, there's asexuality and aromanticism, but as far as I know, China doesn't have those concepts, so Japan probably doesn't either. Having sex in a relationship just seems like the default mindset for them.

I like Jeehan but he has been upsetting me these last few chapters. Even more so in this chapter when he said “ I LET HER, choose so many different things... why can’t she do this one thing for me”. Reading that made me want to jump in the story n slap him right there. How are just gonna let her do something she’s not a pet or a child. She’s a human woman and your wife. To me that line is male entitlement at it’s finest. Thank god the brother is knocking some sense into him.

The FL met the ML like 3 times in like in three months period (loosely calculated) and she’s in love with him. Each encounter was probably 90 mins tops at best. The ML is a man child that can’t even let her talk cuz he’s caught up in his delusions and shitty back story. Honestly not worth it. the side characters had better development and screen time than the main couple who took too long in getting them together.
By side characters we mean the Aunt and Leo, not the cousin because she is a spoiled brat

Does her story makes more sense? Yes, because it's very short and there is a minimum of space needed to put some nice BS... she is not a likable character and her development even though not floppy it's basically her changing her revealing wardrove to a more modest one

But from the usual norm he prob experienced something in his childhood before she entered the duchy but that doesn’t give him the right to be a douche bag to her only. He basically cares for others, stays quiet and doesn’t defend her when others talk shit about her in his presence. He legit sucks up to them so she realized she already wasted ten years on his useless ass one day. XD
I think their was an misunderstanding. At the beginning he thought that she was a villaness and evil because of her family did something to his so he wanted a divorce. But she actually liked him but he's a dick. The last fight was when she slapped the annoying bitch and he misinterpreted and thought she wanted his attention

So what I remember is he treated her like shit cause he thought she was just another stuck up spoiled rich girl. Which is ironic, cause to me he’s a spoiled rich boy. He didn’t know how her family or society was treating her. Which is a pretty dumb reason to me, cause it was pretty obvious something was going on. He just never cared to look for a second and just made his own stupid assumptions. Even when she fainted in the past from a fever due to the lack of supplies her family gave her for her room he never thought. “huh it’s kinda weird that my wife is sleeping with thin blankets during winter.”
wishtrash is creeped out of how pretty she is like a doll when she first moved in tontheir dukedom she they were still children. The he find her affection creepy and suffocating hes rude to her out of habit. FL is do fed up and wanted to run away from the country that tramples her all her life.

Wishtrash family hates her too they regret promising engagement before birth if they knew shes a child of a maid so they neglect her too when she moved in. (I cried so much)
Her fiance always look at herwirh contempt and outmost rudeness so society see her as clingy and doesnt want to give up on wishtrash when so many ladies wanted him.
Royal family hates her too cause while wishtrash is in war and his parents are dead she handle the dukedom for 3 years they hate it cos shes not a noble blood it irritates their being when a mere servant child holds such position and doing fine.
She dont have anything,anyone, or anywhere. She got fed up with wishtrash when she slapped the bitch and blame her without asking. when she heard ML she see it like a job opportunity to run away from everyone. Thats why she decided to sign it

I think, in some odd/ unconventional way, the Duchess is looking out for the twins. She is missing some social skills, but from this chapter, I can imagine she had to/was forced to create barriers with the people around her due to jealousy or greed. Hence, she solely focuses on being a superior asterol and training her granddaughter to be one too. I think she does not want the twins or Claire, at the bare minimum, to experience what she did growing up or at least what happened to previous twin relationships. As far as what we've seen she hasn't minded her own business, but she might be trying to avoid some unnecessary conflict for another asterol. But if she tries something else best believe I’m going to stand on business for my girls!!!
Of course, what you said makes sense. I also believe that not all Astariol are devoid of emotions or compassion. It can't be that only Astariol with twins can be emotional. After all, how can a Tara make them feel something they never have before? But they have different thoughts and different ways to deal with things, so things that may seem rude or even cruel to you may not be so for the Astariol.
That being said, the logical thinking of Astariol may not resonate at all with normal people, not even for a twin. As a human, negative emotions come to us so easily, especially greed and fear. Even for a twin pair with Astariol, he felt negatively towards his twin, which is sad since the problem is that they don't communicate properly. Maybe it's a good thing that Eciel is such a simple-minded child. She's very expressive, and doesn't shy from sharing her emotions with her twin.
