1. Anthologies are alright, as long as it's legit scary
2. NO zombies
3. NO perspectives from serial killers
4. NO end of the world scenarios
5. NO kaijus or other created monsters. But monsters from actual folktales are alright

With ML, it's not like he had a choice, ML's already dying. So once his brother realized who the FL is, he had to force the marriage and keep her literally close to ML to keep ML alive.

And ofc he can't tell the princess that "btw you are destined to hate your husband" either AND he genuinely believes she won't reciprocate ML's love since he saw how his father discarded his step mom.

And there's the need for FL to be in their country too. Because if his brother had to be in a loveless marriage to keep him alive, the least he could do is that he's at least keep them near him where he could guard them.

I like how Kim Dan is focusing on the small but still negative moments of their time together. Make him BEG.

The angst

I actually prefer this situation with the parents. They're not abusive but they're not perfect either. I've read too many isekai novels and mangas where the parents are super perfect or super kind and let's face it: it makes the plot boring. No parent can be that always perfect anyway. At least the parents here, including the king and queen aren't your typical convenient characters, they actually have lowkey complexity
