I'm so proud and I like this kind of development.
Other time travelling MCs tend to be conveniently awesome right from the get go but this one is being realistic.

100% and this is also why I hate the villainess trope (not that it stops me from reading them) but most of the time it's a "look, a different person took over the villainess' body and they don't act like a villainess, so all of the abuse the original villainess went through is easily resolved!". I'm more tolerant to regression stories over transmigration. But also so many novels have the MC think about how they are cowards, or weak, or insufficient. But very few novels actually put that into actions the MC shows. This series so far is just fantastic!

It's so funny because the latest update was trending recently
"Is it appropriate for webtoons to show this much violence?"

I kinda understand ML's brother.
With ML, it's not like he had a choice, ML's already dying. So once his brother realized who the FL is, he had to force the marriage and keep her literally close to ML to keep ML alive.
And ofc he can't tell the princess that "btw you are destined to hate your husband" either AND he genuinely believes she won't reciprocate ML's love since he saw how his father discarded his step mom.
And there's the need for FL to be in their country too. Because if his brother had to be in a loveless marriage to keep him alive, the least he could do is that he's at least keep them near him where he could guard them.
