kemono asobi by the same author check it out, its about Misaki s past and his relationship with Tsubara, and thats what i read first i mean he was still violent but it didn t tell that much about the relationship he had with Chiaki so seeing that he actually forced Chiaki into the relationship by blackmailing him made me feel rly dissapointed (〜￣△￣)〜

There are other ways to develop a character and his past. Rape is such a serious thing to be used as a mere plot device or fetichized.
The author could have just justified them not getting together in high school by saying the uke was scared or something. Why did she have to make him a character who sent sexy photos to an 18+ magazine when he was a minor??????

for me i just dont mix both stories. like i imagine theyre individual plots of their own cause i personally found masaki's story fcked up in a way thats appealing. shitty mom made him that way then he blackmails someone into a relationship which overall makes him a dckhead without reason. but its interesting and it hits home for me cause this sht actually happens irl. what i dont get tho is when people act like its cool and cute like, okay, read a story that has r@pe scenes and violence but dont glorify it. it wasnt created to promote that kind of behavior in the first place
