lemme tell yall...aren't ready for the latest chapter oh my god what in the game of thrones is going on...like I get it its messed up and everything is confusing but WE did NOT need a visual of what yoonho was seeing...oof when is this torture gonna end actually...???? I thought we were done but nah back to rape yall ! And we finally got to see the literally "form of broken love"...not funny why tf would u think its okay to break someone's arms AND OVER WHAT?? like if this was a serial killer or crime story I would maybe expect it...

yup called it!! I knew suyeon only liked gyeol from the get-go cuz he looked like his father (which i realize now is such a fucked up thing to say out loud wow.) Actually no, I don't think it's in that disgusting way, rather as a substitute for what his father failed to provide so not because he *looked like his father* but he's the closest person resembling him that can like him back...still eh but can we please shoot gyeol in between the eyes when we are done? Thank u!

                                                *****SPOILERS*****
At the end of last season I saw someone on twitter theorising that Suyeon called Gyeol Father/Dad during sex and that's why Gyeol called him disgusting and left, so I'm not too surprised with the events of this chapter.
I thought Suyeon's attraction to Gyeol because of his resemblance to his father would be an unconscious thing for Suyeon, so to have Suyeon just straight up say it was what was surprising.
Gyeol is the king of projection. He kept telling Suyeon that no one wants him, that Suyeon has spent all this time waiting for Gyeol and that Suyeon could never replace him. But we see it's the opposite; Suyeon was moving on and had found someone who he loved and who loved him back. Yoonho was never Gyeol's replacement, if anything Gyeol was the one who was the proxy for Suyeon's father. In chapter 38 Gyeol tells Suyeon "You're simply exploiting a child who years for affection" when that actually describes Gyeol best.
Thank God we finally got some more plot development in this chapter. After a slow start to the season it feels like things are actually progressing, I'm hoping the next chapter isn't just more Suyeon abuse.

huh okay...I thought gyeol would have a sad backstory but no...? I mean it was showed fully but he had a loving mother and then he had a younger siblings that he felt jealous of and that was all that was shown.

I was so confused because I saw a lot of comments on twitter talking about a sad backstory, but it was literally nothing bad? His parents were religious but we don't see any abuse so I'm not sure why people thought it was sad. What was most obvious in the flashback is that even as a child the thing Gyeol fears most is being replaced which explains why he freaked out when he realised Suyeon was actually moving on emotionally with Yoonho and not just using Yoonho for sex.
I've got to say that I've found the start of this season to be pretty lacklustre. I feel like I keep reading the same chapter over and over. Gyeol abuses Suyeon sexually, Suyeon barely resists and instead responds to the sensation but then feels disgust afterwards, then repeat. I think the last 4 chapters really could have been 2. The pace has been really slow and we hav't gotten any actual introspection from Suyeon. Hopefully that changes with the letters Suyeon was writing to Yoonho because at this point I'm not finding either Gyeol or Suyeon very compelling.
I've always thought that best part of this series is the way we end up feeling Yoonho's anxiety and despair through the subtlety of the writing and not by having to be told directly. I'm finding Gyeol to be very one dimensional. The series was at it's strongest when it was about Yoonho trying to understand the mystery that was Suyeon but lately Suyeon is less a mystery and is instead just an underdeveloped character who keeps doing the same self-destructive acts.

omg yes, yes, and a final yes. I was so confused on Twitter when I saw ppl saying how they feel bad for gyeol??? I was expecting to see him get beaten up or bullied based on their reactions but he just has a younger sibling...? I get it, it can feel bad to feel that way but nowhere near an excuse to what hes making suyeon go through.
And about the past few chapters lacking in traceability is so real! The author could have done this in a simpler way but it was weirdly dragged out. I think mostly for the smut and sex appeal cause otherwise it felt repetitive.
Im guessing next chapter we'll go back to yoonho and his drinking problems.

Just read new chapter with my very minimal (bad) language skills and damn...it was kinky as he'll but in a very VERY depressing way... we see the vid he talked abt and its basically just gyeol making suyeon admit that he quit and that he's only qualified to be his RAG (??????) Gosh at least the sex is done for now

Do you read Korean? I use Google Lens to translate but the sometimes you get some very strange translations that don't make sense.
Back in seasons 1 & 2 I thought Gyeol was just a fuckboy who got off on stringing Suyeon along, but it turns out he's a huge sadistic psycho. Even when Yoonho would lose control and belt Suyeon he would perform after care, being super attentive to Suyeon where as Gyeol is just cruel.
It's scary how desperate Gyeol is to reprogram Suyeon into being nothing more than a mindless sex slave. He looked super pissed at the end when Suyeon was vomiting because he knows that Suyeon finds him disgusting.
We also see that the reason Suyeon remained a virgin until his mid 30s is because Gyeol traumatised him when they were students saying no one would ever get turned on by someone as disgusting as Suyeon. Only for it to cut back to the present and have Gyeol say he's the only one who would ever find a gloomy slut like Suyeon attractive. It's just pure gaslighting.
Dirty rag (걸레) in this context has the same meaning as slut in English. It's the same language Suyeon's father used to describe his mother.

yup that's pretty much what I understood as well so the translated version is the same. Seems like gyeol is getting off the fact that someone who was more talented than him in pottery is now not only below him artistically but physically and socially. And him filming that video that isn't sexual (at least the 1st part of it) shows what kind of sadist gyeol is. From the last scene, ig gyeol will probably assault suyeon again and this time it'll get uglier

I didn't think Gyeol would be such a mess. Weird how the video started like one of those cringey youtube prank videos only to go super dark with Suyeon being suicidal.
I'm hoping this current arc is over and we start seeing some plot movement. With only 15-16 chapters left I think there's still a heap of ground to cover.

huh...okay this is making me confused. Like first of all, the mc and his fiancé (or at least lover) were together FOR A LOOOOONG TIME, but mc fell for this mysterious guy and pretty much cheated kinda? idk this is where I'm confused is this cheating or not?? and then the mystery guy has a bdsm relationship with the sexy guy but is it cheating since it's not romantic? I mean it's sexual but I don't think mysterious guy is doing it for pleasure but more like an outlet for his anger? man just write a smut manhwa next time

yea idk how to feel...sa/rap3 always makes me wanna drop manhwas but at the same time i can't stop reading it cuz I need the ending
At least they didn't show it explicitly like they often do
