I’m glad to see the story coming back with the search of the treator. That amnesia was too much. And like most of you I suspect the treator is the secretary but I’m not happy with it. I kinda like the character and I hope I’m wrong.
We all knew this was coming but still it’s hard. So I just hope a real character development. Even if now I’m like you all and want Dan to find someone else who will help him pay his debt and be kind with him and freed him from that shitbag Jaekyung, I know that won’t happen. Because I read so much stories like this : BJ Alex of course but Painter of the Night too or Finder or the Kuroneko Kareshi serie and I forgot some more. But if the author is serious this would be fine, maybe. I was often surprised to change my mind about those kinda jerks. But author san, you have to work hard !
After reading chapter 44, I think we have two choices : First, Jaekyung is feigning to be drunk just to save his face but being kind to Dan. Cute but not really credible. Second choice is worse : Jaekyung is really drunk and when he sober up will still be the same scumbag. I can picture a naive Dan who bring his gift but Jaekyung toss it and start to be angry and maybe insult Dan so hard that Dan finally break with him and go (the only good choice my dear Doc). Some time pass, Jaekyung’s shoulder worsen to the point he fell down from his champion title, a very depressed Dan struggles with his debts and his grandma who is dying and have real bad days. And sudddenly one day Jaekyung find the lost gift, open it and this trigger something which made him finally understands he was a real douche... And here will start the redemption arc.
I know this is a little too much "BJ Alex like" but maybe the author will surprise me... ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
omg I literally was thinking the same thing! considering this has the same subgenre (regretful top 후회공) as BJ Alex, it will probably turn out just like this lmaooo
(unless the creator makes this a super long manhwa so the gift giving isn’t the turning point and Dan leaves him much later, but the concept is the same)
I just hope this adaptation will follow the novel. In the novel, this part is really hard but after it, the redemption/reconciliation will be good. And in the end they will be a great couple very respectul for each other.

Like most of you I’m glad Dan finally understands that he is in some kind of unrequited love. Of course he’s not in the way to give up yet but at least he starts to look differently at Jaekyung.And for Jaekyung, could we hope some character development after the few looks he made on Dan ? And like someone said before me, I think the gift is related to Jaekyung past and has some meaning... Or maybe Dan won’t give the gift for some reason and later in the story when Jaekyung will discover the ungiven gift it would be a great revelation for him ? And for last, what the coach said is bugging me a little. Why is Jaekyung so competitive ? Siblings somewhere who need money ? Past trauma due to poberty or he was bullied become he was a shrimp ? Maybe I hope too much but I admit this chapter was better than the last ones. Please author san, don’t break this good positive dynamic in the next one.

It’s not very pleasant to read coments unrelated to updated chapter (79) just because some read the raws and coment the end in two chapters. We all know in the kind of stories there are extras or side stories and sometimes long enough to complete the main story. All the coments about the end are disrecpectful for those who are just reading the updates.
For what I read on chapter 79, I’m happy for Seong Yo to see his carreer on the right path. I hope that after solving his mother’s murder Jae Hyeok would feel free to live his life without pressure. I’m sure it’s what he’s doing and that’s why he’s here.

I would prefer the amnesia-MrDior plot to stop and focus on the traitor in the military targetting LuTao. It would be more interesting for the drama. I know the author wants to offer some kind of second chance for the main couple to write again their romance but this memory disorder become really boring...
I’m happy to see a new chapter but what’s bothering me a little is the long time before chap12. I hope the author didn’t have some problem or if there was, that those problems had ended.
Chapter 12 already existed it's just no one uploaded or translated it. Up to chapter 16 is complete..it's not completed yet though but I think the volume is

There are at least 22 chapters published so the author is definitely working on it. She is very active on Twitter too.
Yeah the manga has much more japanese chapters. Its just no one was fan translating this and I think its cuz its being officially translated now.
But issue was, the official translation only caught up to volume 3 which is where chapter 12-17 is. So you can actually buy the latest volume digitally on amazon right now. I think the current uploader did this and is slowly releasing the chapters for the volume. After that, English volume 4 will physically release in July (chapter 18-23 im guessing)
