Is anybody else disappointed that the narrative is taking a different turn from the characters mentioned in the synopsis? I rarely read complex love triangle plots. The angst, the pain, it’s all just too much but this one is not like Lucky Paradise. Lucky paradise was a bittersweet and wonderful rollercoaster of a story BC it stuck to the narrative mentioned in the synopsis (which is what I was expecting). Wet sand just feels horrible. Don’t get me wrong, I think Tj is a very interesting and uniquely complex character but I just feel like he’s occupying more space in this plot than Jo (the main actually mentioned in the synopsis). My disappointment lies within the feeling that I’ve been mislead based on the synopsis (in my mind, if a character isn’t specifically named in the synopsis, they’re not a main character). I’m expecting more Jo/Ian not mostly Ian/TJ. And the sex scenes, while hot asf, it’s too much. I want more plot and far less sex scenes.
I’ve never anticipated a sex scene so badlyy I just wanna see dude with the scar fuck looool; he’s too fine
Makes you wonder how tall Seong-rok is if he can make Jeoh look dainty in comparison…or is he average height and this bitch is just extra extra small ?? O.o
As much as I love the art and the story between Paljae and ryeong, holy FUCK does this story draaaaaagg on and on and on. I’ve skipped most of the other character’s scenes and am still able to keep up with this story. Tells you that nearly ALL of these side stories and so entirely unnecessary to the main plot. For the love of GAWD can we stick to the main couple and their story only before I go insane???! I really really really really don’t care about these side stories.
They’re IMMORTAL BEINGS ! I’m convinced that some of you guys who keep crying “pedophilia!” And “grooming!!” Have absolutely no idea what those words mean and how they DO NOT apply in context of this story. It’s like you guys haven’t actually read the story or having reading comprehension issues bc that’s not at all what’s happening here. If you don’t even have the decency or respect for the author of this story to figure out what’s actually going on, shut up about it or leave!
Im so confused on what their relationship was for it to be like this now? Mc is such an asshole and for what?
Idk about yall but I’m loving the new art style. I would prefer the old (this new one looks more AI generated) but it still looks great . Plus mcs are like 10x hotter. My only grievances is the author, completely unprovoked, showing us Je-oh uncensored gaping asshole. Yes I know the language is crude but I’m verbalizing the visual effect the image had on me. It cannot ever be unseen ( ̄∇ ̄")
I like a toxic seme and I hope he stays the male lead. He just needs some major humbling and do some serious begging (and maybe a little jail time lol) but I hope minhyung and mc (can’t remember his name) are endgame. Sorry director, maybe in a spin off you’ll be someone else's male lead
I’m so fucking disappointed in Ian for that. Jo doesn’t deserve that kind of bullshit. He didn’t even hesitate to stand Jo up for that piece of shit TJ. If TJ and Ian are going to be together, fine but at least stop setting Jo up for disappointment like that.
Idk if it’s bc I’m about to get my period (very likely) but that scene really fuckin hurt me
And like I’m the type of person who always wants the first pairing I see in any romance story to end up together but this one…nah, I couldn’t care less. In fact, if Jo doesn’t find a nice, good, RELIABLE and TRUSTWORTHY guy, I’m gonna throw a damn fit and NO I am not okay
I LOVE these kind of stories. Enemies to loves is my absolute favourite trope this one and painter of the night destroyed and repaired my heart and I loved every bit of it
I really enjoyed this one. I think senpai’s backstory is complicated and I would have loved to explore it. WHY is he like that, where he thinks sex is just sex but what’s real love. Very “pretty woman” esque with the whole “I don’t kiss clients” thing. Similar to “I don’t give my heart to fuck buddies”. And for anyone doubting the “realness” of this story and senpai’s character. A lot of only fans content creators are in “monogamous” relationships
Having read the spoilers for the next chapter, I’m gonna go ahead and drop this manhwa. This story is getting off topic and I’m annoyed by the week(s) long hiatus from the main couple to focus on side couples/characters. The synopsis is centered around two characters and instead, we’d gotten weeks of updates on side characters that I have absolutely zero interest in.
Had this story continued to focused on the main characters and added bits of the side couples/characters, I would have been way more invested in their side stories than I am. Too much is happening with too many people at once and it’s dwindling my interest in this manhwa as a whole. Had the synopsis included the club and its members rather than focus only on the main couple’s dilemma, I would have been fine with the divided attention.
maybe I’ll come back once the story is complete to reread the manhwa. Hopefully I’ll care more for the other characters the second read around. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
I love the artwork and the mcs it was beautiful but wtf are we just going to skip over what Kurosawa did? I mean yes, good for Hana for working through his trauma and expressing himself and being empowered and feeling safe enough to speak about it but wtf?! Where’s Kurosawa’s punishment? That POS should be in prison or killed !!
Can’t wait for the reversal when mc finally kicks his bitch ass to curb and then he realizes that he was actually in love with mc the whole time and grovels hard for forgiveness
This is probably one of the worst omega/alpha stories I’ve read I mean seriously the plot is garbage and I’m mad at myself for wasting my own damn time
I read and even reread some scenes and still understood nothing. Please, dear translator, I know you’re trying your best, thank you, but please stop. This needs someone more experienced bc literally nothing is making any sense and it’s such a shame bc the artwork looks amazing!
