The two seemed completely unnefected with Rio's death, like what? How could you just completely ignore someones death. And more than that, in the span of a couple pf days or even a month these two jerks are like lolollolol i totally loved my guy and there blushing like WHAT? I understand people are trying to make their yaoi stories more unique because people are noe being repetitive, but come on my guy. Sorry i got really worked up because if i was Rio i would be super angry that two of my closest friends are loving it up while im in the grave.

Has no one considered that the reason Rio told Misamichi that she loved Gaku first was because she knew they loved each other? You don't remember that she said she was going to tell him the reason why she apologized AFTER he came back? That's right before she died. She's also the one who broke up with Gaku, precisely for that reason...? I think you guys are doing a disservice to Rio. She's the one who wanted them to be together. So she's not some fragile heroine that you make her out to be. I actually think if they had NOT got together because she died she'd be the one most pissed.
The parts I agree with you guys on are the ones where they seemed to inconsiderate of how much pain she must have gone through in order to give Gaku up AND how they seemed to have used her from the very beginning, fragile heroine or not, maliciousness intended or not (the latter of which is most likely the case.

You totally are entitled to your opinions even if some don't agree.
I like the story because Rio had a feeling that the two boys liked each other while dating Gaku.
Technically most people aren't honest with their feelings and how the boys choose to ran away from it isn't their fault either given the nature/sexuality of what it meant.
She could be honest about her feelings because it's acceptable in society where as both boys were unaware about each others sexuality and feelings. They were going to keep it a secret and conform to the norm of society.
However, i honestly think Rio is happy for both of them and Yes they both love and appreciate her friendship however she was never the love interest for either of them. Although Gaku shouldn't have gone out with her, their relationship didn't last and seeing how they remained friends, it insinuates that the break-up was mutual.
sorry, i thought that you also had valid point and if you took the time to read my response thank you for willing to see my point of view. I like people that express and give feed backs on Mangas and how it relates and what it means in reality. If it was to be reversed and it was two girls and one guy then the morality of this whole thing is shame

In my opinion. Their reaction to Rio's death is normal base on how the story goes. They found comfort with each other because first they liked each other and second they were long time friends who knew Rio well. Humans normally don't want to be sad so they seek comfort or distract themselves with other things to forget about their sadness. And do you have to be always grieving because someone you loved died? Life goes on.
I also don't think they're disrespecting Rio when she was alive. In the end, they were all HS students. They're brain is literally inclined on emotional actions not rational ones. It was not like all of them intended to hurt each other.

I see your point but still in my opinion (it's just my opinion) I still think they got over her death very quickly, I do agree however that they will eventually have to move on, the pace however was just a little to quick to take it in, this often happens in mangas where big events are made to be very quick although now that I'm thinking about it, it did actually seem like they were grieving. I still think the story was kind of rushed like there could have been more thought or emphasis on the feelings of the charecters but hey that's how it all turned out. I still do not like the couple, but I do agree with most of you points.(๑•ㅂ•)و✧

I do not think rio is a fragile heroine, I do however agree with how she would have been mad if the two did not get together after her death. I'm just frustrated because everything was a little too fast paced for me, (this is just my opinion) it just seemed like the death of Rio really didn't have to be put in, and even if it did, the story could have been stretched to a few more chapters. I still do not like the couple but I do see your side.

i really didnt care about the couple at all, i now im gonna get dislikes, but they had sex and then both got extremely infatuated with each other, it was just like so many other yaoi mangas, (atleast the love part of it) HOWEVER THE ONLY CHARECTER I STRONGLY LIKE WAS MY GIRL RENA, RENA I WILL TAKE YOUR SNACKS ANYDAY, I LOVE YOU AND I APRRECIATE YOU

Yeah. I liked Rena and Shouda. I'm not too fond of the couple, because I don't understand them. I don't get why Rei liked Asahi so much even after the way he treated him, and most of all, I don't get why Asahi was ignoring Rei that whole time after confessing to him. It just didn't make sense to me.
Here we have a classic yaoi case of adding in a innocent and very likable girl just so she can be hurt to thicken the plot
