At the end of season one Jae kissed Garam but it was weird for both of them plus it was when Garam accused Jae of having feelings for him and the falling out of things. During season two they had minimum encounters for focusing on both coming to terms with their feelings, so now that Garam is initiating their second (I think) conscious kiss is something impactful for Jae
