Ch. 34


In my opinion it's boring and the production is pretty bad. It's not that well made that everyone makes it out to be. The characters are bland, the art is bland, the writing is bland. It's not horrible, I've read worse, but it truly is a manhwa opposite of gripping. I think the problem is that it's trying really hard to be smart and psychological, but like other Manhwas it doesn't really manage to make it believable. It's not that much smarter than any other manhwa, just a lot of big words and information dumps, making it harder to read and get into. It's not really good for something more serious or psychological either, everything is just handed to you on a platter without leaving anything up for interpretation. Also, where is the chemistry between the ML and FL?

Ch. 52 (waiting for season 2)

It's refreshing to see an actual sweet and nice male lead that isn't overly possessive or jealous for once. He's actually very cute without being cringey (I thought my time was up!). I like FL as well, and the chemistry between the ML and FL is definitely there. I really love their dynamics. I also enjoy these types of stories of cheating pathetic ex-boyfriends and fake dating that turns into real dating, even though it is kind of generic. The art is great and I loved the parts where ML learns about art and starts winning people over! It was very satisfying to read, and I hope we get to see him learn and discuss art more. Fun stuff aside, I have a bit of a problem with when she says stuff like "How am I gonna spend all of this money? It's coming in faster than I can spend it", because I don't know, she could just give away half of it to people who need it. I mean, she seems to have full control of her own money and seems to be fully capable of doing so. We see her do some sort of charity here and there, but not enough to even make a small dent in her economy. And not enough to actually fix any problems long term. I mean, there seem to be huge class differences there. Who cares about that she gets cheated on when she is sitting on money that could solve to hunger of at least one whole country? But I understand that this is fantasy and just meant to entertain. It's obviously impossible to write a character this rich without it being immoral in some sort of way. I mean, in a perfect world there SHOULDN'T exist people this rich. Not to get too political, but it should never be a thing. Like Dolly Parton, the only reason she isn't a billionaire is because she has given away so much to charity. That's how it should be. But like I said, it's just a manhwa and it's not that serious. Just a little thought I had.

I don't think this is a good manhwa, but it really is interesting. In the beginning. This is a manhwa that needs its crazy plot to be interesting. It doesn't hold out in the long run since the characters suck.

ch. 70
Cute but nothing special. I get kind of mad that the main character avoids the "original" main character to death just because of the original storyline, to the point of really hurting her feelings, but when it comes to the main lead she doesn't care about the original storyline at all. With the male lead she makes all kinds of excuses.
