This was such an amazing and original story! Loved every bit of it and wish it was longer (what a shame that the author had to go through that). I was so devastatingly heartbroken over the story and death of the human mc, Hao Zhi Gang, and felt so upset by how Kid killed Captain Wu i'll need maybe a full working week, if not more, to get over this story

It's kinda sad that the friends just phased out of the story when they got older. Couldn't they have just have showed up at some point to show that the friendship is still ongoing? Idk them showing up at the last chapter, during their uni days, just made me sad
I think this BL did a good job depicting DID but I have one question: doesn't DID develop from severe trauma experienced only between the ages of around 8 to 10? He was much older when he experienced that trauma so how is it possible that his personality split? From what I understand, trauma can cause a split in a child's personality, of the age 8-10, because one's personality isn't yet fully developed at that point so the personality can fragment and split into multiple ones. Can someone please explain if I'm right or wrong?
Yeah I'm pretty sure it only develops in kids under the age of 10 who experience repeated trauma. Not even a singular instance, it has to be repeated which blocks proper personality development.
Maybe it’s cause he still hadn’t formed his identity yet? Also I know most DID cases have more than one alter (two alters? Original and the splintered one). Maybe just having one is to show that his split when he was older? Just a theory. By no means any credible source of mental disorder info
