OK, I liked this at first, but chapter 13 changed it all for me. Why, why would they make it so this literal teenage boy is in love with a CHILD. I get later, where they are both mature, but pedophilia is not something to romanticize. It is an issue, and it is meant to be treated by a therapist of sorts. Love his restraint and waiting, but please can we stop glorifying age gaps when it is hazardous to a child?
