You can tell that that one motherfucker whose name I can’t remember doesn’t actually care about the MC past possessiveness because if he did he would’ve paid for him to get the surgery so he could walk again. When you love someone you would do anything to make them happy, but in his eyes the MC won’t need him anymore if he can walk and pay off the debt so in order to continue holding power over him he would never do something like that. And then there’s the whole fucked up thing where he refers to him as like a puppy or something to his subordinates, so he’s literally objectifying him. And don’t get me started on the borderline domestic abuse, sex should not be something that is one-sided nor should it be considered some sort of punishment. Him choking and doing God knows what without consent is so fucked up.
I think we’re not reading the same story… Sooyoung (the uke) does not want Taesung (the seme) to pay for his shit. He doesn’t want to be a prostitute or feel as if he owes him. He’s not interested in his money because Sooyoung made it explicitly clear that he doesn’t want to live off of Taesung’s sympathy or pity. When the seme told him that he could pay off his debts, Sooyoung clearly told him that he would work for the seme to pay him back so that it wouldn’t feel as if the uke was going around collecting mercy from others. Sooyoung wanted to work for Taesung to earn that money himself. He was very clear about that and Taesung accepted cause he respected his decision so long as the uke didn’t get hurt while working, Taesung would NOT interfere in his life. Seme can pay, but he knows uke won’t like it and he respects uke so he won’t do it.
Him calling him puppy doesn’t mean he considers Sooyoung an animal or a slave. Sooyoung even called Taesung his doggy. The author showed that scene so that people knew that uke was consenting of this role play. To you anyone who’s confused I can give what I think is happening. First the dude with the red eyes who is basically being assaulted I believe is the person that the MC went to with his glasses camera to recover the file. Which would explain why he had the file with the evidence on his computer. But it seems he might have some sort of connection with the Blondie since it seems the two of them were in a call at the end of the chapter. My bet is that when the red eyed dude was trying to save the recording that was water damaged he lied about how it was lost since he recognized the blonde, saved the file and then got in contact with the blonde to maybe threaten him or something.
